Denver Sister Cities International is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to hear about our mission and upcoming Global Unity Fundraiser on The Morning Set on KUVO Jazz! Join hosts Carlos Lando and Steve Chavis, along with Community Producer Abi Clark, on Tuesday morning as they welcome Denver jazz legend Purnell Steen, leader of the Five Points Ambassadors, and Sacha Francois Heppell, Executive Director of Denver Sister Cities. They’ll discuss the Global Unity Fundraiser, the unique legacy of Denver jazz, and how this powerful art form fosters international diplomacy through our city’s sister city relationships.

This year’s Global Unity Fundraiser, happening Thursday, November 7th, at Dazzle Denver, will bring together the international community in Denver to celebrate cultural exchange and raise funds for the Denver Young Ambassador program. Enjoy an evening of live jazz from Purnell Steen & the Five Points Ambassadors, delicious food, and a raffle for two international roundtrip Southwest Airlines tickets! Proceeds will benefit Denver Sister Cities programs that promote youth leadership, cultural diplomacy, and global understanding.

Can’t attend the event? Support Denver Sister Cities and its impactful programs by donating to our Colorado Gives Day campaign! Your contributions will directly support scholarships and leadership training for the Denver Young Ambassadors program, helping inspire and prepare the next generation of global leaders.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with Denver’s global community, either by attending our event, tuning in on KUVO Jazz, or supporting us on Colorado Gives Day. Together, let’s continue to build bridges, foster cultural exchange, and make a difference locally and globally!
