A Global-Inspired Playground Comes to Life

Denver Parks & Recreation is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the newly renovated playground at City of Potenza Park! As one of Denver's ten Sister City parks, this vibrant space celebrates the rich cultural connection between Denver and Potenza, Italy, while offering an exciting and innovative play experience for local families.

Explore the Innovative New Features

The highlight of the park is the ‘Hedra’ play structure, a geometric masterpiece designed for kids aged 5–12. Its unique configuration fosters exploration, agility, and balance, providing endless opportunities for creative play.

Other new additions include:

  • Two swing bays for all ages
  • A colorful play surfacing inspired by Potenza’s architectural landscapes
  • A brand-new picnic shelter perfect for gatherings and outdoor fun

This renovation was made possible through funding from the Elevate Bond, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for everyone in the community.
