Dear Board Members, Committee Chairs, and Members,
As we enter the holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you, your families, and your loved ones. May your holidays be filled with joy and warmth, and may the New Year bring great success and happiness.
I am deeply grateful for the tremendous work you have all accomplished in 2024. I also extend a sincere thank you to the leadership and volunteers of every City Committee, recognizing your dedication and invaluable contributions. I am impressed by the tremendous work the Board did in 2024 too.
Special thanks to our outgoing Board Chair, Devron McMillin, for her dedicated service and exemplary guidance, and to our Executive Director, Sacha Francois Heppell for his outstanding execution and energy.
As we move forward, there is so much more to do. As an immigrant to this beautiful city, I am honored and humbled to serve as the Chair of the Board in 2025. This opportunity reflects the incredible inclusivity and promise of our community, and I am committed to being accessible and involved in the noble causes and aspirations of our organization's members and committees as much as possible. I also want to thank my 2025 Executive Committee, without whom I would not be able to perform my duties to the very best of my abilities.
Looking ahead to 2025, I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism. I eagerly anticipate working closely with each of you to continue fostering our mission of citizen diplomacy and international relations. Together, we will build lasting global connections and strengthen our community’s role in promoting peace and understanding.
