The Denver Young Ambassadors recently completed an incredible journey to Denver's sister city, Kunming, China, where they participated in the Yunnan International Sister Provinces/Cities Youth Exchange Week 2024. This transformative experience was filled with cultural exchanges, leadership development, and the building of international friendships.
Throughout the week, the Young Ambassadors explored the rich history and culture of Yunnan Province, from the breathtaking natural landscapes of Erhai Lake and the Stone Forest Geopark, to the bustling Dounan Flower Market and the prestigious Yunnan Minzu University. Each day provided them with new opportunities to learn, connect, and share their own cultural backgrounds as representatives of the City and County of Denver.
